One of the most memorable quotes I have ever heard is, "what do you want right now versus what do you want the most?" Although I cannot remember where I heard it from, it has always stayed with me. This idea of constantly thinking of your future puts you in a mindset that allows you to prioritize your future. Although we are all human and none of us are perfect all the time, keeping what you want most in mind rather than always focusing on what you want in the moment will bring you closer and closer to accomplishing your goals and leading you to your ideal self.
Whether it be your dream body, your dream job, or your dream life, we can all make small changes in our daily lives to get to where we want to be. If you take one thing away from this blog, let it be this; if you change everything at once it won't stick. For example, let's say it is a new year and your new years resolution is to start working out and eating healthier. If you start this journey by throwing out all the junk food in your pantry and doing hard cardio five days a week, you will burn out within the first month. Starting small such as taking the first week to make sure you are drinking enough water throughout the day is a much more effective way to accomplish a large goal.
When we look at very successful people, we learn that their accomplishments didn't happen overnight. We can take this lesson into our daily lives and smaller goals that we have as well. Starting with smaller parts of a larger goal is a much more efficient way to get to where you want to be.
